Magruder High School marked the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a memorial Wednesday morning.

Retired Col. Stevenson L. Reed, JROTC senior Army instructor at the school, said about 300 people came to the event, which included singing the natonal anthem, playing taps and remembering those who died in the attacks.
