In honor of the 200th anniversary of Brookeville’s role in the War of 1812, James and Dolley Madison are coming to town on Oct. 27, when they will host libations and supper, featuring a menu prepared by the former first lady.
The event will take place at 5 p.m. at the Inn at Brookeville Farms, 19501 Georgia Ave.
The cost is $125 per person, with tables of eight available. The patron charge is $1,813, which includes a table for eight and subsidy for eight students. Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $2,500.
A reception for patrons and sponsors will be held at 4 p.m. at the Madison House, 205 Market St.
Proceeds benefit Brookeville’s War of 1812 Bicentennial Commemoration events planned for Aug. 30-31, 2014.
