One man is dead and two others remain hospitalized after a domestic stabbing incident in a Chantilly home where children were being cared for, according to Fairfax County Police.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the 4100 block of Travers Court in Chantilly where they found three injured men, they said. “Their wounds were consistent with a stabbing,” said Capt. Rich Perez of the Fairfax County Police Department. “All three men were taken to a local hospital, where one later died,” he said.

Perez said two children who were being cared for in the home were uninjured.

“Their parents came and got them,” he said.

The identities of the three men have not been disclosed. Police said the incident was “domestic in nature.”
