Fairfax County police are seeking two masked bandits after an employee of the Meadows Farms Nursery in Herndon was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday.

Police said a man was walking in the parking lot of the business at 11254 Leesburg Pike in Herndon shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday when two men masking their faces with red bandanas got out of a pickup truck, produced a weapon and demanded money.

Police said the man complied but the two suspects assaulted him before fleeing in a white Toyota Tundra. “He was roughed up, but did not require medical treatment,” said police spokesperson Lucy Caldwell.

Police said that the incident did not initially appear to be gang-related.

The suspects’ vehicle was described as a white Toyota Tundra.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
