A Silver Spring resident has died after a single-vehicle accident June 19.

According to Montgomery County police, Roy V. Tjonganero, 29, was driving his Honda Accord in the eastbound lane of Veirs Mill Road around 3 a.m. Near the road’s intersection with Turkey Branch Parkway, the car left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said.

Tjonganero was transported to a local hospital, where he died. He was the only person in the Honda Accord. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
