Two Prince George’s County Public Schools teachers are finalists for “Best School Teacher” for the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards.

English teacher Tamra Sease at Bladensburg High School and language arts teacher Albert T. Lewis at Walker Mill Middle School in Capitol Heights are finalists for the award, which will be presented this August in Las Vegas, according to a news release from the school system.

The awards honor businesses, religious and neighborhood leaders, churches and schools for their achievements and contributions to their communities, according to Harvey’s website.
