Kimberly Ho, a senior at Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, has won the 2013 Clyde G. Nora Memorial Honor Award from the Clyde G. Nora Memorial Foundation of Rockville.

The award includes $1,500 in financial aid for Ho, who will attend Towson University next school year.

The award is presented annually to a high school senior or undergraduate college student who meets the “high standards of academic achievements, leadership skills, participation in community and school activities and an ability to express themselves in writing of their goals and aspirations,” according to a news release from the foundation.

Ho received the award at Springbrook High’s awards ceremony May 9.
