An Oxon Hill woman was arrested Saturday after a Christmas Day argument in which she allegedly stole money and keys from a District Heights man and broke his nose and jaw, the sheriff’s department said.

Shamika Tyecha Manly, 25, of the 3000 block of Oxon Run Court, is charged with assaulting an unidentified man inside a District Heights house and stealing $70 and a set of keys from him, according to Prince George’s County sheriff’s deputies who made the arrest.

The attack took place in the 7100 block of Marbury Court, deputies said.

Prince George’s County Police issued a warrant for Manly Jan. 29 and sheriff’s deputies investigating her whereabouts found her in the 6500 block of Hil-Mar Drive in District Heights, according to the sheriff’s deputies, who said she was arrested without incident

Manly is facing charges for first- and second-degree assault, robbery and misdemeanor theft, according to online county court records.

She was released from jail on bond March 31, online court records state.

Manly is facing a April 24 preliminary hearing in Upper Marlboro and a defense attorney representing Manly was not listed with the courts by Wednesday.
