Prince George’s County Police have arrested a 16-year-old Laurel boy in connection with a BB gun shooting, according to a police press release.

Andre Christopher Rivers, of the 13500 block of Attleboro Court in Laurel, was arrested for shooting at an on-duty police officer’s car, according to the press release. The officer was not hurt.

A while later, patrol officers stopped Rivers near Edinburgh Lane and Contee Road. According to the press release, the initial investigation showed that the boy had shot at the police car with a BB gun, which was found.
