The U.S. Army Soldier’s Chorus will make their first-ever appearance in Frederick on Friday at 7 p.m. to perform a concert.

The free concert will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church at 131 W. Second St. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served.

The Soldier’s Chorus, founded in 1957, is the vocal complement of the United States Army Field Band. The 28-member mixed choral ensemble travels throughout the country and abroad.

The event is part of Calvary Methodist Church’s Community Concert series, and is sponsored by the church’s Music and Arts Committee. For more information, visit www.calvaryumc.org.
