Monday morning’s weather conditions closed some schools and put others on a two-hour delay.

In Prince George’s County, all schools and offices are operating under a two-hour delay. Emergency personnel must report to work on time, according to Prince George’s County Public Schools.

There will be no work-study transportation or half-day Pre-K, ECC. There will be no field trips except for students at the Academy of Health Sciences at PGCC. Any school program requiring transportation prior to noon will not have transportation, including Howard B. Owens Science Center.

In Frederick County, schools are closed today. Most offices are open. 12 month employees are scheduled to work, however the liberal leave policy is in effect. All FCPS afterschool and evening activities are canceled or postponed, according to Frederick County Public Schools.

Montgomery County Public Schools are on spring break this week. Transportation to private special education schools is canceled.
