Montgomery County Fire and Rescue are looking into what caused a fire in a Germantown basement on Saturday morning.

Firefighters were called to the unit block of Metz Court about 11:20 a.m. Saturday, said Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham.

No one was injured and the fire was put out before 11:30 a.m.

It is not yet known how much damage the fire caused or how many occupants were in the house at the time, Graham said.
