Robert Munday, 75, of Rockville, died Feb. 28, 2013.

Born to the late James and Maxie Marcum Munday, he was predeceased by a son, Lawrence R. Munday, and a brother, John Munday.

He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years.

He is survived by his children, Cheryl L. Nichols and husband Don of Damascus, Robert W. Munday Jr. of Gaithersburg, Bonnie Szemereta of North Carolina, Robin A. Gruber and husband Tim of Maryland, and James R. Munday and wife Dulia of Germantown; his siblings, Alice Munday of Virginia, Connie Sidney of New Jersey, Samuel Munday of Virginia and James Munday of Virginia; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. March 9 at Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville.
