Clarksburg High School will present College Night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 14 to help students and their families plan for college.
The event will feature speakers and topics from multiple aspects of the planning process.
College representatives will discuss their school programs. Current high school seniors will provide insights into preparing for college. Administrators will help interested families register for Family Connection, an online county college planning service.
This night is one of several preparation opportunities, particularly for 11th graders.
In April, counselors will discuss admissions tests, college visits, family resources.
Students will get the opportunity on April 18 to visit the National College Fair at the Montgomery County Maryland Agricultural Center.
