Montgomery County Police are looking for the public’s assistance in investigating a series of vandalism incidents in Bethesda.

Around 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 17, officers responded to the 6700 block of Melody Lane for a reported vandalism.

They found that a vehicle and a Montgomery County Police K-9 vehicle were spray-painted with profanity, explicit images, a swastika and anti-gay comments.

In the 8200 block of Wahly Drive in Bethesda, officers responded later that morning to two other vandalism incidents involving a light post and a large landscaping rock.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incidents to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 301-657-0112 or email a tip to BISTips@montgomerycountymd.gov. A cash reward of up to $2,000 is available for information that leads to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible.
