Author and financial adviser Ric Edelman is coming to the Weinberg Center in Frederick where he will offer free advice on everything from retirement accounts, insurance and investments to starting a college fund or caring for aging parents.
Edelman will be taping his public television show, “The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman,” on March 21, at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, 20 W. Patrick St., in downtown Frederick. The evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a reception. The taping of the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free.
Those attending are encouraged to bring their financial questions to ask Edelman during the taping of his show.
“This is a terrific opportunity to get personal financial advice from a nationally renowned financial advisor,” said Russ Hodge, the co-producer of Edelman’s show. “He is a terrific communicator with a great sense of humor.”
Hodge, of 3 Roads Communications in Frederick, who co-produces Edelman’s show with Cynthia Scott, said Edelman has the ability to explain financial matters in a simple way that anyone can understand.
Edelman’s half-hour show on public television is currently in its third season.
