Rona Aquino, a web writer and editor in Alexandria, Va, is to be married to Reginald Cruz, a U.S. Navy Lieutenant in Hyattsville.

The pair first met at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2005.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Benny and Lucy Aquino of Bowie and the prospective groom is the son of Roland and Delia Cruz of Austin, Texas.

An October wedding in Annapolis is planned.
