Frederick police arrested a man Saturday in connection with an attempted residential burglary on the 100 block of Fairfield Drive.
Officers from the Frederick Police Department say they found Marvin Lee Stanton, 25, of the 100 block of Ashfield Court in Frederick in the backyard of the residence around 2:18 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report filed by Cpl. Matthew Carrado. Police were responding to a call for an attempted burglary in process.
Police could not be reached immediately on Saturday for further information.
Stanton was charged with attempted fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property of less than $500. He was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. Attorney information was not yet available in online court records for Stanton as of Saturday afternoon.
