Excitement is growing in Frederick for the Historical Society of Frederick County’s latest exhibit, “We Mustache You to Consider ... Facial Hair in Frederick County.” Featuring a plethora of historical photographs culled from the society’s collection, the exhibit showcases the cultural significance of various hair styles and its impact on local history, Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, to May 12, at the The Museum of Frederick County History, 24 East Church Street, Frederick. “Show Me What You’re Working With!”, featuring the talents of 17 members from the Black Artists of D.C., will be on view from Feb. 11 to April 6 at the Brentwood Arts Exchange in Prince George’s County. Participating artists include Daniel Brooking, Melvin Campbell, Jay Durrah, TH Gomillion, Carolyn Goodridge, Wanda Hardy, Francine Haskins, Ester Iverem, Hubert Jackson, Gloria Kirk, Jacqueline Lee, Magruder Murray, Victoria Paytonwebber, Russell Simmons, Simone Spruce-Torres, Eugene Vango and Ann Marie Williams.
