Soprano Danielle Talamantes and the National Philharmonic Chorale and Orchestra will present Poulenc’s “Gloria” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda. Led by music director and conductor Piotr Gajewski, the program also will include Ravel’s “Bolero” and Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade.” One of the region’s most sought-after soloisits, Talamantes has appeared before sold out houses while gracing a number of classical music organizations, symphonies and opera companies with her talents. Her turn as Violetta in Verdi’s “La Traviata” with the Fremont Opera garnered critical acclaim. For more information, visit www.nationalphilharmonic.org. Visit www.strathmore.org.
