The Frederick County Bureau of Investigations is looking for three suspects involved in an assault at a New Market bar last week that left a Queen Anne’s County man with “significant injuries,” according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are searching for two men and a woman who were allegedly involved in a fight at the Blue Sky Bar and Grill at 10519 Old National Pike at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Deputies believe that a dispute led to an altercation between a man and several individuals at the restaurant. The man ran after the group and assaulted them as they were trying to leave the establishment, the release said.

Deputies said the man fled before they arrived.

One of the victims, a 49-year-old Stevensville man, was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released on Tuesday after being hospitalized for four days.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect and the people who were with him at the restaurant.

A surveillance photo provided by the sheriff’s office shows what appears to be two white males and a white female.

“The investigators would like to identify them and bring them in for questioning,” said Cpl. Jennifer Bailey, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office. “The main point is that anybody who can identify these individuals is encouraged to call [us].”

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Detective Dan Romeril at 301-600-3996.
