The Bowie Center for the Performing Arts will feature a showcase of local talent from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 1 as Bowie High School will put on “Bowie High’s Got Talent.”
The event will serve as a fundraiser for the school’s student government association, said Mary Nusser, house coordinator for the center.
“This is a great class,” she said. “I’m so loving them.”
The performance will include a collection of both students and staff from the adjacent school showing off their skill.
Performances will vary from singing, dancing, poetry and comedy in a family-friendly performance, according to a statement from the performing arts center. Tickets cost $5 and will be available at the door. Students from the school can begin purchasing tickets Friday, according to a statement from the center.
