Two students at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville won top honors at the Maryland State Education Association and the Maryland State Department of Education 5th Annual High School Juried Art Show.

Sophomore Samira Okudo won first place and $400 for her print “A New Beginning.”

Zhouran (Annie) Ma, a junior, received second-place honors and $200 for her painting “Headscarf.”

The students’ works are on display through Feb. 24 at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, 830 E. Pratt St., Baltimore. For more information, visit rflewismuseum.org.
