Linda Lou Estep, 57, of Huntingtown died Dec. 31, 2012, at her home.
She grew up in Morningside, where she was one of 14 children. She lived in Huntingtown for more than 13 years. She loved to play with her dog and cat and enjoyed gardening, swimming in the pool and her “girls day out.” Above all, her family and grandchildren were foremost in her life.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lawrence and Mary Nichols; sister, Betty Lukacsina; and brothers, Joe and Jerry Nichols.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Keith Estep; daughter, Jeannie and her husband, Jiggs Knowles Sr.; grandsons, Jiggs Jr. and Keifer Knowles; brothers, John, Jack, James and Jimmy Nichols; sisters, Shirley Lynch, Mary Taylor, Helen Nichols-Richardson, Dottie Fletcher, Lydia Duncan and Judy Barragan; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Family will receive friends for a memorial service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at American Legion Post 126 in Forestville.
