A man who lost control of his motorcycle while driving in Oxon Hill on Tuesday has died.

Prince George’s police said around 12:16 p.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road for the report of a single motorcycle crash.

Cpl. Maria McKinney, a county police spokeswoman, said the man lost control while driving and veered off the roadway and crashed.

He was transported to an area hospital where he later died, she said.

McKinney said a cause for the crash is still being investigated and did not say if speed was a factor.

The man’s identity has also not yet been released.
