Starting Jan. 5 and continuing every Saturday until Feb. 2, children will be able to take lessons on handling clay at VisArts, 155 Gibbs St., Rockville. The class, led by instructor Kim Swanner and located in the Ceramics Studio on the third floor of the building, runs from 9-10:30 a.m. Cost for tuition to the class is $75.Students will learn pinch pots, coiling and soft slab working techniques.
