The Calvert Marine Museum will present “Horseshoe Crabs: Survival of the Fittest” from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 29 in the Discovery Room at the museum at 14200 Solomons Island Road in Solomons.

Join an interpreter for a hands-on look at these ultimate survivors, get a chance to touch the crabs and explore a model showing their inner anatomy.

The program is free with museum admission, and 15-minute programs start at the top of every hour.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and military with valid ID and $2 for children ages 5 to 12; children younger than 5 and museum members are admitted free.
