KBE also named Robert Baumann project executive. Previously, Baumann was vice president of Coakley & Williams Construction and senior project manager and vice president of Columbia Construction.

The Maryland Technology Development Corp. of Columbia named Jennifer Hammaker program manager for the Maryland Innovation Initiative.


Swift Systems of Frederick named Bryan Chaney of Frederick senior account manager. Previously, Chaney worked for Avaya, Blackboard, Computing Options and Siemens Business Communications.


E-Management of Silver Spring named Dave Thompson senior vice president.

Abt Associates of Bethesda named John Ruyter vice president, human resources. Previously, Ruyter was senior director of human resources at DLA Piper and has been an adjunct graduate faculty member at Towson University.

The Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors installed Michael McGreevy as president for a one-year term. McGreevy is a manager with Long & Foster Real Estate’s offices in Silver Spring and Potomac.


The Greater Baltimore Medical Center of Towson promoted Rekha Motagi of Reisterstown to director of its medical hospitalist group. Motagi joined the group as one of its original members in 1997. The center also named Fred Chan of Towson chief medical information officer.

The Y of Central Maryland of Baltimore named Eric Somerville of Baltimore director of Druid Hill Family Center Y. Previously, Somerville was director of operations for Mint Health Club & Spa.

Systems Alliance of Hunt Valley named Jaime Wetherill technical recruiter.

Visit Baltimore named Brendan Janishefski director of Web marketing. Previously, Janishefski was interactive art director at Weber Shandwick Worldwide.

Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates of Baltimore named Ryan Wolfinger and Cara Farrell semi-senior accountants.
