Police are investigating a rash of burglaries on Honey Crisp Lane in Germantown.
There have been four daytime, forced entry burglaries in the area since Nov. 22, according to Montgomery County police spokeswoman Britta Thomas.
Police believe that the burglars may also be responsible for 10 burglaries in the Germantown/Gaithersburg area, Thomas said in an email Tuesday.
The suspects took electronics and jewelry, she said.
So far, police have arrested one suspect, but are not identifying him because the investigation is ongoing.
“Neighborhoods and management groups have been contacted and provided with information asking for residents in their communities to report suspicious activity or persons to the police. Extra patrols have been sent to the area,” she said in an email.
