A public meeting to discuss a potential bike path from Clarksburg to Germantown will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 in the Clarksburg High School café.

The path would be constructed along Route 355 from Stringtown Road in Clarksburg to the Milestone community in Germantown.

At this first public meeting for the proposed path, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation will introduce the project team, share current project information, present displays of the potential path alignment and gather feedback and clarify issues related to improvements to the master plan for the area.

Communities in the area of the proposed bike path may have received a pamphlet in the mail detailing the meeting and aspects of the project.

Call Project Manager Wayne Christiansen at 240-777-7266 for more information.
