The Middletown Volunteer Fire Company is sponsoring the 2012 Kayla Cares if You’re Cold blanket drive through January.

New or slightly used blankets can be dropped off at the fire company, at 13 S. Church St., the Emmitsburg Volunteer Ambulance Company, Terrace Lanes of Frederick, NAPA’s Brunswick location, Kay Jewelers at the Francis Scott Key Mall, the Middletown Recreation Center and Ashley Furniture’s Frederick and Hagerstown locations.

The blankets will go to shelters, dialysis centers and others in need.

Blankets can be dropped off until Jan. 5.
