Jasmine Cabrera, a fifth-grader at Cool Spring Elementary School in Adelphi, is one of six students in Prince George’s County to win the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s third annual Clean Water Poster Contest.

The contestants created posters based on the theme “How I Use Water Wisely.”

Jasmine and 12 other students in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties will have the posters they submitted entered into the WSSC’s calendar, which will be printed this month. Each will receive $100 prize and three copies of the calendar.

More than 520 students submitted art work to be selected for the calendar, according to a release.
