A Germantown man is being held without bail on multiple charges related to a home invasion in which he sexually assaulted a woman in front of her two children, according to charging documents.

Perry Eugene Lee Jr., 21, was charged with first-degree burglary, first- and third-degree sexual assault and other crimes related to the incident that occurred in the 400 block of West South Street in Frederick.

Brandishing a gun, Lee allegedly entered the home about 12:45 p.m. on Saturday in search of two men whom he believed had shot at him the day before, the court documents said.

The resident told him she did not know the men, but Lee searched the home before leading the woman to her child’s bedroom and sexually assaulting her, the documents said.

He then led her to a second room and allegedly assaulted her again at gunpoint. Lee then threatened the woman, saying before leaving that he would return, the documents said.

The victim then called a family member, who searched for Lee on Facebook based on the description he gave to the victim that he was a baby’s father from Germantown. The family member found a photo of Lee, and sent it to the victim, who identified him as her assailant, the documents said.

While investigating the home invasion, police received a call at about 1 p.m. reporting that a group of males, one with a gun in his waistband, was arguing near All Saints and South Market streets.

When police arrived, Lee allegedly fled the scene on foot before being apprehended by police.

He was found with a loaded firearm and cocaine and marijuana that was divided into bags for possible distribution. There were baggies of cocaine powder and crack cocaine, the documents said.

While investigating the sexual assault, police determined Lee was the alleged assailant, and in possession of the firearm used to commit the sexual assault.

Lee was charged with the following crimes related to the home invasion: one count of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree assault, first- and third-degree sexual assault, and use of a firearm in committing a violent crime or felony.

A Frederick County District Court judge ordered him held without bail on those charges at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

In the drug case, Lee was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm during a controlled dangerous substance distribution offense, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime and littering.

He is being held on $30,000 bond on those counts.
