Time is running out to donate toys and gift cards to the Rockville holiday drive.

Organizers are collecting donations through Dec. 13. They need new toys for children of all ages, monetary donations and $15 gift cards to stores such as Giant, Safeway, Target, Best Buy and Old Navy.

Donations will go to local families for the holidays. This year, the city expects the drive to serve more than 1,300 children in 530 homes.

Toys may be dropped off at City Hall, Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, Thomas Farm Community Center, the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, and the Rockville Senior Center. Monetary donations should be sent to City of Rockville Community Services, 30 Courthouse Square, Suite 100, Rockville, Md. 20850.
