Timpano Italian Chophouse on Rockville Pike reopened Tuesday afternoon after a Nov. 30 fire forced the restaurant to close.
“I’m excited,” said Restaurant General Manager Scott Monfils, before the reopening, which was scheduled for 4 p.m.
The fire started at about 11 p.m. Friday and was located at a back dock by the dumpsters, he said. The restaurant was open at the time and there were no injuries, he said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, said Scott Graham, assistant chief of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
