Timpano Italian Chophouse on Rockville Pike reopened Tuesday afternoon after a Nov. 30 fire forced the restaurant to close.

Im excited, said Restaurant General Manager Scott Monfils, before the reopening, which was scheduled for 4 p.m.

The fire started at about 11 p.m. Friday and was located at a back dock by the dumpsters, he said. The restaurant was open at the time and there were no injuries, he said.
