Olney author Rachael Erichsen just released her first children’s book, “Jessica Hedgehog Becomes Rich.”

In the story, Jessica the Hedgehog wants to know what it means to be rich. Complete with fun and exciting characters, the book has a great message for the whole family.

Readers join Jessica on her journey through the woods as she asks her friends for advice on the true meaning of being “rich.” The answers she finds might be surprising.

“I’ve worked in technical theater for a while,” said Erichsen. “Through that experience with traveling and making friends, I’ve learned that the people around you are your biggest treasure, so I wanted to convey that message to kids.”

Although she does not have children, she said she has many younger siblings and has always loved being around them.

The book, her first, is now available at tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or at amazon.com. Erichsen said that it should be available in stores soon.
