My name is Matthew Hammett. I am 7 years old.

Our world without trees would be a terrible place to be. There would be no pencils, paper or houses. No beautiful forests. No maple syrup. We would not have any shade. We would have lots of noise. There would be nothing to take dust or smoke from the air. We would not have fruit to eat. There would be nothing to hold the soil from washing away.

Trees remove carbon dioxide from the air and produce oxygen for us to breathe. Everyone should take care of our trees because you could not publish The Enterprise without trees.
