Manekin of Columbia named Craig Pollock a property manager. Previously, Pollock was an assistant asset manager and disputes administrator at Kimco Realty, and an associate at Brunswick Plaza. Manekin also promoted Ruth Gambino of Catonsville to property manager of its Water’s Edge Corporate Campus in Belcamp. Before joining Manekin, Gambino was property management coordinator with Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse.

The Health Facilities Association of Maryland in Columbia named Ashley Podolak government relations coordinator. Previously, Podolak was legislative director for Del. John A. Olszewski Jr. (D-Dist. 6) of Dundalk.

Medifast of Owings Mills named Edward J. Powers interim CFO, following the resignation of Brendan Connors. Powers joined Medifast as senior controller in 2011.

Colliers International named Matt Chriss of Lutherville an associate in its brokerage group in Columbia. Previously, Chriss was a teacher and coach at St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, Va.

The Frederick chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors installed the following officers for one-year terms: Filomena M. Advanced Pain Medicine Institute of Chevy Chase and Greenbelt named Ayana McIntosh to its medical staff.

The Rockville Economic Development board elected Ray Whalen chairman and Paul Newman and Susan Prince vice presidents. Whalen is founder of Whalen Properties; Newman is associate director of computer systems at Westat; and Prince is CEO and founder of Cadence Marketing.

The Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association in Silver Spring elected Brian Allan Jackson president. Jackson is a partner with EYA of Bethesda.

CBRE promoted Peter Carroccio to managing director for suburban Maryland in its Bethesda office, effective Jan. 2. Before joining CBRE in 2007, Carroccio was regional managing director of the Washington, D.C., region for GVA Advantis and senior vice president at Transwestern Commercial Services.

Emergent BioSolutions of Rockville promoted Robert G. Kramer to CFO, succeeding R. Don Elsey, who is resigning. Kramer, who also will remain executive vice president, corporate services division, joined Emergent in 1999 as CFO, before retiring in 2010 and then rejoining the company in September.

Prince George’s

Bozzuto Management of Greenbelt named Stephanie L. Williams senior vice president of planning and advisory services. Previously, Williams was a development manager for Bozzuto Development.

State

Shore Bancshares of Easton promoted Patrick M. Bilbrough, 48, of Greensboro to president and CEO of the Talbot Bank, succeeding William W. Duncan, who is retiring Dec. 31. Before joining the bank in 2011 as executive vice president, Bilbrough was market executive of PNC Bank, executive vice president and CFO of the Mercantile Eastern Shore Bank, and president and CEO of the Peoples Bank of Maryland.

Planit of Baltimore named Caitlin Murphy social media supervisor, Scott Shulim a copywriter and Adam Aud a designer. Previously, Murphy was media relations supervisor at Mullen Advertising. Aud was senior designer for CDR Fundraising Group.

The BWI Business Partnership of Linthicum Heights named Dorothy Dalphon senior director of commuter transportation programs. Previously, Dalphon was community relations manager for TransIT Services of Frederick County.

The Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees of Baltimore named Jay L. Lenrow a member. Lenrow is of counsel to Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler of Baltimore.

Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin & White of Baltimore named Anne T. McKenna a partner and chairwoman of its Internet and privacy law practice group, SilverMcKenna. Previously, McKenna worked for Miles & Stockbridge and co-founded Crosswhite, McKenna, Limbrick & Sinclair.

DLA Piper named Kathleen Birrane to its insurance and reinsurance sector, and litigation practices as of counsel in its Baltimore office. Previously, Birrane was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Maple Life Financial and principal counsel to the Maryland Insurance Administration at the state Attorney General’s Office.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore named Mary G. Rode senior vice president for program services. Previously, Rode was an administrator of St. Vincent’s Center/St. Vincent’s Villa.

Ripken Baseball of Towson named Colin Clark assistant vice president of marketing. Previously, Clark was brand manager of digital activation at Under Armour and also worked for the Chicago Cubs.

Vinita Gupta, CEO of Lupin Pharmaceuticals of Baltimore, won the inaugural Ernst & Young U.S. 2012 Family Business Award of Excellence.

Jim Altig, CEO of MEDI of Millersville, was elected president of the Independent Information Management Dealers Association.
