Manekin also promoted Ruth Gambino of Catonsville to property manager of its Water’s Edge Corporate Campus in Belcamp. Before joining Manekin, Gambino was property management coordinator with Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse.

Alliance of Dundalk named Timothy R. Hearn a director. Hearn is CEO and principal with Colliers International | Baltimore in Columbia.

W.R. Grace of Columbia named Jeffry N. Quinn a director. Quinn, 53, is chairman and CEO of the Quinn Group and Quinpario Partners.

Message Systems of Columbia named Steve Dille senior vice president of global marketing. Previously, Dille was senior vice president for marketing at TouchCommerce, senior vice president at AdPortal, Kickfire and Viador, and global head of marketing for Morgan Stanley Capital International.

Robert Causer, vice president of human resources for Humanim of Columbia, was elected to the Maryland Society of Human Resource Management State Council.


Global Facility Solutions of Mount Airy named Nilay Mahavir a mechanical engineer, and Carol Parker office manager and administrative assistant. Previously, Mahavir was a senior systems applications engineer with Schneider Electric.


Advanced Pain Medicine Institute of Chevy Chase and Greenbelt named Ayana McIntosh to its medical staff.

The Montgomery Business Development Corp. of Rockville named Holly Sears president. Previously, Sears was vice president of economic development for the Rutherford County (Tenn.) Chamber of Commerce, worked for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and was executive director of the Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, Tenn.

Discovery Communications of Silver Spring promoted Kurt Wehner to chief accounting officer. Previously, Wehner, 50, was senior vice president, corporate accounting. Before joining the company, he was an audit partner with KPMG.

Offit Kurman named Dina Shand to its landlord representation practice group in Bethesda.

The Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association in Silver Spring elected Brian Allan Jackson president. Jackson is a partner with EYA of Bethesda.

The Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington named Russ Snyder chairman. Snyder is CEO of Volunteers of America Chesapeake of Lanham.


SECU of Linthicum named Krystal Delaney of Glen Burnie assistant manager of its University of Maryland, Baltimore, branch. Previously, Delaney was an assistant manager at TD Bank and also worked for SunTrust Banks and the Regulus Group.

Curtis Bay Energy of Baltimore named Charles Leonard president and COO, and Chris Scherer CFO. Previously, Leonard was president and CEO of TrashMasters, senior vice president of operations for Casella Waste Systems and senior vice president of U.S. operations for Laidlaw Waste Systems, and also worked for Browning-Ferris Industries. Scherer was director of budgeting, forecasting and operational support at Casella Waste Systems, and regional controller at Allied Waste Industries.

Ayers Saint Gross of Baltimore named Cooper Melton an architect in its student life studio; Jack Hulme a senior environmental graphic designer; Denise Clapp marketing systems manager; and Stephanie Theis a member of its marketing and business development division. Previously, Melton worked for Esocoff & Associates. Theis worked for Parsons Brinkerhoff. Clapp worked at Ayers Saint Gross from 1998 to 2003.

Bonnie K. Heneson, president of Bonnie Heneson Communications of Owings Mills, won the Community Health Charities 2012 Joseph Forni Award for “dedicated service and commitment.” Heneson has been a board member since 2010.

Allegis Group Services of Hanover named Rick Haviland president, succeeding Chad Lane, who was named president of global recruitment solutions for Talent2. Haviland remains president of MarketSource.

Rosenberg Martin Greenberg of Baltimore named John A. Carpenter Jr. counsel in its real estate group. Previously, Carpenter practiced with Locke Lord and Katten Muchin Rosenman.

Campbell & Co. of Pikesville promoted William Andrews to CEO and Michael Harris to president, both succeeding Steve Roussin, who held both posts. Previously, Andrews was co-director of research. Harris was director of trading.

Planit of Baltimore named Caitlin Murphy social media supervisor, Scott Shulim a copywriter and Adam Aud a designer. Previously, Murphy was media relations supervisor at Mullen Advertising. Aud was senior designer for CDR Fundraising Group.

Penn-Mar Human Services of Freeland promoted Laura Tieman of Stewartstown, Pa., to COO of its Maryland operations. Tieman joined Penn-Mar in 1999.

The Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Towson named Kim Marzullo donor and corporate relations manager and Joy Hall education and outreach coordinator. Previously, Hall was a community health educator for Amerigroup.
