The Care Blairís Team sincerely thanks everyone who attended the Forget-Me-Not Brunch and Silent Auction at Olde Breton Inn on Sunday, Sept. 9, in support of the Alzheimerís Association. Your participation in the silent auction and donations to this very important cause are much appreciated. More than $7,300 was raised at the event.

We wish to thank everyone who helped in any way to make our fundraiser such a huge success. Each act of kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated whether it was a donation of time or money. Congratulations go to Frances Titus, who won $311.50 in the 50/50 raffle, and generously donated all of the money back to the Alzheimerís Association.

A sincere and special thank you goes to Eddie and Patsy Bailey for the use of Olde Breton Inn and the donation of the delicious food.

The Care Blairís Team was formed in support of Matt Blair and has been participating in the Walk to End Alzheimerís since 2003. Matt lost his fight with Alzheimerís disease on Feb. 12, 2011. It is in memory of him and to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimerís care, support and research that the Care Blairís continue to support this event.

The team proudly participated in the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimerís, located at Asbury in Solomons on Saturday, Sept. 15.
