A woman was killed in Bladensburg on Monday evening after two vehicles struck her when she was crossing the road, Prince George’s County police said.

Mary Katherine Harding, 46, of the 2400 block of 57th Place in Bladensburg was struck twice around 7:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Kenilworth Avenue, according to county police, who said she was not in a crosswalk.

The two vehicles involved were a gold Chrysler 300M and a white Nissan Altima, and the drivers of both vehicles stayed on scene and cooperated with the police investigation, police said.

Harding was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors for either driver, and the incident is still being investigated, police said.

A phone number for Harding’s residence could not be located.
