I wish to commend the organizers of the election poll at North Point High School in Waldorf.

I work in Washington, D.C., and some of the individuals I work with from the District and Virginia stood in line for several hours to vote.

I was expecting a similar experience after a long day at work Tuesday when I went to vote. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived around 6 p.m. and there was no one in line and several polling stations were open.

The volunteers who assisted me were very friendly and highly efficient during the entire process. I was in and out and had my “I Voted” sticker in a matter of about 15 minutes.

Now, that’s what I call having it together. A huge thank-you from a tired commuter.
