Chevy Chase At Home will hold its second Thursday Brunch Bunch on Nov. 8 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Olympia Coffee Shoppe at 7021 Brookville Road. All are welcome.

On Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Chevy Chase Village Hall, legendary journalist Marvin Kalb will offer his analysis of the results of the Nov. 6 election. Kalb spent 30 years as an award-winning reporter for CBS News and NBC News. At NBC, he served as chief Diplomatic Correspondent and host of Meet the Press. He was the founding director of the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. The author or co-author of nine nonfiction books and two best-selling novels, Kalb’s most recent book is Haunting Legacy: Vietnam and the American Presidency from Ford to Obama, co-authored with his daughter.

Chevy Chase At Home helps seniors stay in their homes by providing services to residents in some municipalities in Chevy Chase. For the second half of 2012, seniors pay $175-$250 to join.
