Gaithersburg resident Stephanie Goldberg was inducted into Lycoming College’s chapter of the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Academic Honor Society. Goldberg is a senior at the Pennsylvania school and a member of the Greek organization Alpha Xi Delta.

Gamma Sigma Alpha requires its members to have a grade point average of 3.5 or above and be an active member of a Greek fraternity or sorority.

Kevin Rieg of Gaithersburg was placed on the dean’s list at St. Mary’s College of Maryland for the spring 2012 semester. Students on the dean’s list earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and take at least 12 credit hours per semester.
