M&T Bank of Buffalo, N.Y., named Craig A. Gajewski business banking relationship manager in its Columbia office. Previously, Gajewski was a business banker at Capital One Bank.

Bank of America of Charlotte, N.C., promoted Jeff Wood of Clarksville to president of its Greater Washington, D.C., market, succeeding William Couper, who was the bank's mid-Atlantic president. Wood also is managing director and Washington complex director for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He is a former Navy commander and flight officer.

Ancile Solutions of Elkridge named Malcolm Poulin director of product strategy, James Wee director of business development and Alan Young chief technology officer. Previously, Poulin was director of enterprise marketing at RWD Technologies and director of business development at SAP. Wee was senior vice president of sales and business development at Airclic. Young was senior vice president of research and development and general manager of the application development platform business unit at Progress Software, and also worked for BEA Systems and CA Technologies.

Osiris Therapeutics of Columbia promoted Lode Debrabandere to COO from senior vice president for therapeutics. Previously, Debrabandere was vice president of global marketing with Bristol-Myers Squibb and led the marketing department of UCB Pharma.

Jeremy Briscoe, national agriculture business manager for Certis USA of Columbia in Atascadero, Calif., was elected chairman of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers.

KBE Building of Columbia named Gary Price a superintendent, Michelle Strickland a junior estimator and Ryan Jabs, Marie Nathan and Rosalia Marques project engineers. Previously, Price was a senior and general superintendent for Barton Malow Co., and a project superintendent for Turner Construction and Gilbane Building. Strickland was a sales associate for Pottery Barn. Jabs was a project engineer for U.W. Marx and a junior draftsman for Stinemire Engineering. Nathan was a project engineer at Banks Contracting. TV One of Silver Spring named Alfred Liggins CEO, succeeding President and CEO Wonya Lucas. Liggins also is CEO and president of Radio One of Silver Spring, which owns controlling interest in TV One.

Baygroup Insurance of Rockville named co-founder Ed Hutman of Rockville managing partner. Co-founder Melissa Barnickel heads the company's Monkton office.

LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda named Denise Coll a trustee. Previously, Coll was president, North America division, with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Stephanie C. Hill, president of the Information Systems & Global Solutions-Civil product line for Lockheed Martin of Bethesda, was honored for "career achievement in industry" at the annual Women of Color Science, Technology, Engineering and Math conference.

WebbMason of Hunt Valley named Richard Barbato Jr. vice president of finance. Previously, Barbato was controller at CRW Parts. Argo Systems of Hanover named Carrie Ann Miller marketing director.

Champion Realty in Severna Park named Charles Windsor a broker. Previously, Windsor was a sales and marketing executive for United Airlines.

Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin & White of Baltimore promoted Jamison White and Alex Brown to partner. Before joining the firm, White was with Miles & Stockbridge; Brown was an assistant attorney general, senior counsel to the Maryland Insurance Administration and a lawyer with Venable. The firm also added lawyers Phillip J. Closius, Anne T. McKenna, Steven J. Kelly and Leanne Lauenstein. Jonas A. Jacobson was named Consultant of the Year by the Land Development Council of the Home Builders Association of Maryland. Jacobson is counsel in the environmental and energy, and government relations practice groups with Gordon Feinblatt of Baltimore.

Maurice B. Tose, president, chairman and CEO of TeleCommunication Systems of Annapolis, was re-elected a director of CTIA-The Wireless Association.
