A 17-year-old from Greenbelt is being held on $200,000 bond after Prince George’s police arrested him Sunday morning for two robberies and one attempted robbery in College Park.
Nico Jaleel Robinson, of the 9200 block of Edmonston Road, is being charged with first- and second-degree assault, armed robbery and theft and is being charged as an adult.
County police said investigators recovered a number of items from his home at the time of the arrest that linked him to the robbery incidents.
According to county police, the victims in each incident were University of Maryland students.
In the 9100 block of Baltimore Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, a male UM student was robbed at gunpoint, sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital, county police said.
County police said the second incident occurred about an hour later in the 8200 block of Baltimore Avenue, where Robinson allegedly attempted to rob a second male UM student.
The third incident involved a female UM student, who was robbed at gunpoint at about 8:35 p.m., also in the 8200 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to county police.
Robinson has a preliminary court hearing set for Oct. 29, according to online county district court records.
A defense attorney was not listed with the courts by Monday, according to online court records.
