Cub Scout Pack 460 of Mount Airy held their annual Bike Rodeo in downtown Mount Airy on Sept. 23.
Twenty-five cub Scouts participated in the rodeo, which included a demonstration on bike safety, a bike decorating contest and an obstacle course.
The obstacles were designed to challenge participants’ bike handling skills.
Prizes were given to top performers on the obstacle course and for bike decorations. The Bike Rodeo was supported by Mount Airy businesses Patapsco Bike and Sport, which gave the bike safety demonstration, and Blossom and Basket Boutique.
Calvary United Methodist Church is the home for Pack 460. For more information about Pack 460 contact Jeff Tunkel at jwtunkel@yahoo.com.
