NeedleChasers of Chevy Chase will hold a quilt show in Kensington this weekend.
The show will feature quilting demonstrations and more than 200 quilts made by members of NeedleChasers, a D.C.-area quilt guild. Many of the quilts will be for sale along with hand-sewn craft items.
A silent auction will also raise money for the guild’s events and community service projects.
Linda Fasules, the show’s coordinator, said NeedleChasers holds a quilt show every other year and meetings once a month.
“We welcome anybody who is new or old to quilting,” she said.
The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 12 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 13 at Kensington town hall, 3710 Mitchell St., Kensington. Admission is $5. For more information, visit www.needlechasers.org.
