The city of Bowie held its International Festival at Allen Pond Park on Saturday, inviting people to come for ‘a day of celebration and exploration.’

Music from Ireland, African counties, Germany and Jamaica, as well as dances from India, Bolivia, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Native American tribes gave visitors a quick look into the cultures of these countries. There were also food and children’s activities to round out the day.
