A New Market amusement park will be hosting a less-than-frightful halloween party this month.
Adventure Park USA will host a Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from 6-9:30 p.m. Oct. 27, at 11113 West Baldwin Road. The event will feature dinner with well-known cartoon characters, including the Cat and the Hat.
The light meal will include hotdogs, sliders, chips, a cookie and a small drink.
Visitors during dinner will include Pooh and Tigger, Dora the Explorer and Diego, the Backyardigans and Adventure Park’s own mascots.
Select attractions will be open at the park during the event, including laser tag, the rope course, rock wall and arcade games.
Children 8 years old and younger can also enjoy the Prospector Playground and Moon Bounce and — if weather permits — the go-karts, carousel, helicopter and tea cups.
Tickets are available online at www.adventureparkusa.com for $20 per person. Participants can also buy tickets at the door for $25 per person.
There will also be a $15 dollar charge for chaperones, which will feature a light dinner and arcade games only.
